Our suite and split level rooftop terrace at the Shangri La has arguably one of the best views in Monte Carlo, with guests being able to see over 65% of the circuit.

This private balcony on the 11th floor is located directly above the starting grid, allowing you to fully embrace the pre race atmosphere and watch the all-important start of the race. Along with the start / finish straight there are also great views of Rascasse corner, Tabac & the swimming pool section, as well as a stunning view of the harbour itself.

In addition to the breathtaking view, Harbour Club Shangri La also offers guests first class hospitality, with a fully open Champagne bar and sumptuous cuisine throughout the day, prepared by Lush Motorsport by Tom Kerridge.

Split across two levels, Harbour Club guests can move between the rooftop bar area and the lower terrace, complete with cover to protect from any potential bad weather. There is also internal space with seating and a large screen showing the racing.

First time using Formula Escapes for a race weekend, and what an experience! From initial booking, then greeted at the airport by Sam and Ali to being dropped back at the airport the organisation and helpfulness of the whole team was faultless. A nice location for the hotel with daily coach transfers to and from the circuit on time with friendly drivers made the weekend so much better. The guys also had great knowledge of the circuit and advise on where to eat locally which meant a totally stress free weekend. Cannot wait to book our next escape and will recommend to anyone thinking of doing an escorted tour of a Grand Prix weekend.

Our trip to the Montreal Grand Prix with Formula Escapes was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamlessly organized and premium grandstand seats put us right in the heart of the action. The roar of the engines on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the electric atmosphere of the crowd, and the thrill of watching the world’s best drivers battle it out on track created an adrenaline-fueled experience like no other. Formula Escapes took care of every detail and It was more than just a race weekend—it was a once-in-a-lifetime motorsport adventure. We chose to add on a Rocky Mountaineer trip which Formula Escapes also arranged for us, both gave us memories to last a lifetime. Myself and my good lady had the pleasure of meeting the team for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last year. This was our first time traveling with the company and I can honestly say they were fantastic.
